Alexander Tome So glad to randomly find this album. Delightful math rock with refreshingly tasty riffa-licks. Favorite track: Archaeopteryx Tango.

s_ap Very excellent! "Letters to Wimpy" will be running around my head via speakers or headphones for a long time. I dig every vocal melody and the lyrics are profound and funny. I'm an era of homogeneous mathy stuff this is exactly great.

I would talk about instrumentation but that would be long...TLDR it's dope.

Thanks for taking the time to make this.

Cicatrix All we are is bones and skin Dancing like an archaeopteryx I'm not sure of where to begin So many ghosts Cramping my style Pulling my hair in frowned on shapes Everyone else Unhauntedly Obliviously unconstrained So sorry boys I'm petrified Like it's a fundamental fact Too flawed to flow Too sad to glow To rearrange my atoms Fly, fly like you're in mortal danger Freeze, freeze like an enormous glacier Lock, step, unlock, misstep Cicatrix All we are is bones and skin Grab onto the air and pull it in Archaeopteryx tango Slight malfunction It's nothing to beat yourself up for Plimsoles squeak the vinyl floor From the back of the bar Some staccato beats lost on their own Wings rise Tail fanned Flightless But you feel like a million rehatchings, rehatchings Muscles contract To the beat of dropped pins At the tempo of tuts from the crowd Fingers Strafing Ground pound Jump as high as the planet will allow

Sorry Boys 04:42
Sorry, I still get overwhelmed sometimes Squandered the last chance to say goodbye Dredged all the anguish up to your eyeballs Took you so long to just form the words That we’d all moved on and they couldn’t be heard I still get overwhelmed sometimes Chertsey Business Park 2005 Everyone’s asking why I’m still alive “Why’d you resort to self-sabotage? There’s customers waiting stop with your passions” District attorney I’ve got no evidence this makes me happy “Oh just grow up and pretend” Imposter, imposter I’m lost in your crosshairs Repeating, repeating If it don’t fit beat it Til everything’s perfect and smooth-edged and boring We all smile in tandem Until we’re by our selves And just as the sun sets It all seems so hopeless A darkness confusing A silence consuming So call off your henchmen Your army of yes men You’ve already lost this Your argument’s baseless And just as the sun leaks From over the houses Believe in your feelings And sing, “All you arseholes can die”

Sycophantic ants (I won’t trouble your ghost) Riding parallel elevators down into hell (I won’t gnaw at your bones) Weeks of tumbleweed (All we left was the Earth) Artificial intelligensia (Practise being alone) All along the road seems so calm But I’m starting to think that we’re alone It’s been days and no one’s coming to our rescue Anyone? But it’s alright to pretend it’s alright Rapturous applause Only from the lightning that sheets the foot of your bed Wires quietly Vanishing transmission between the trees All along the road seems so calm But I’m starting to think that we’re alone It’s been days and no one’s coming to our rescue Anyone? But it’s alright to pretend it’s alright Cue the regrets I never break danced We never got over our nervousnesses I never called you up on that weekend You could be here but we’d still wind up dead

Brace yourself It’s pure linoleum this time, unplanned office Mechanised Like your attention to detail got you somewhere OK Integrate The way a plasticine figure responds to pressure Kid yourself Another pina colada and you will be just fine Case Lower your case Debunked Beds made to rest I’m tired of rest Of motionlessness Let’s escape But escape to what? I don’t know Paperwork And our reduction to numbers, collateral Retrograde I feel myself slipping under mountaintops of songs to be sung There’s no time to be stung Staves filled with rests I’m tired of rest Of motionlessness It’s a chore Just staying still For so long Hold up, hold up I remember days of young Hold on, hold on How much longing is too long? Hold out, hold out Are we just coasting til the end?
